We’ve been plastering and rendering in and around Stockport for more than 25 years. The housing round here

Stockport is a real mix. There are Victorian terraces through Edgeley, Heaton Norris and Reddish, larger Victorian and Edwardian villas up in the Heatons, and street after street of interwar semis around Davenport, Cale Green and Adswood. A great deal of that between-the-wars stock was originally finished in pebbledash or painted render, and after ninety-odd British winters plenty of it is now cracked, patchy or letting water in — which is why re-rendering makes up so much of what we do here.
