Short version: we only use your details to reply to you, and we don't sell or share them.
Who we are
This site is run by D&L Plastering & Rendering Services, a plastering and rendering business based in Stockport, Greater Manchester. For anything to do with your information, contact us at info@dandlplastering.com or on 07539 857038.
What we collect
Only what you give us, which is:
- Your name, phone number and (if you provide it) email address
- Your postcode and details about the job you're enquiring about
- Anything else you choose to put in the message box, or send us by WhatsApp or email
What we do with it
We use it to reply to your enquiry, price the work, and — if you go ahead — organise and carry out the job. That's it. We don't sell it, rent it, or pass it to marketing companies. We may share your details with a supplier or a scaffolder where that's necessary to actually do your job, and we'll tell you if that's the case.
One thing worth naming: the form on the contact page is handled on our own site by Cloudflare, who host it. Your message is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile — a spam check that replaces the usual "pick the traffic lights" puzzle — and then emailed straight to us. No other company sees it, and nothing is stored in a database. If you'd rather not fill a form in at all, just ring or text us on 07539 857038 instead — it reaches the same place.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and — once you've accepted a quote — performance of a contract with you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go anywhere are kept for around a year, in case you come back to us. Records for completed jobs are kept for six years, which is what we need for tax, insurance and any warranty question that comes up later.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't set any cookies and doesn't track you. There's no advertising pixel and no analytics that identifies you personally. That's why there's no annoying cookie banner.
Two things worth mentioning for completeness: the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs, and it loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means Google sees the IP address your browser connects from. Neither is used by us to identify you.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or ring us and we'll sort it — normally within a few days, and always within a month. If you're not happy with how we've handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
