How our quoting works
Is the quote really free?
Yes. We'll come out, look at the job, measure up and provide a written price. There's no charge and no obligation to go ahead.
How quickly can you come and look?
Usually within a few days for Stockport and south Manchester, and not much longer further afield. If it's urgent — a leak, blown render, or a job holding up other trades — do mention it when you call and we'll prioritise getting out to you.
Can you price it from photos?
We can usually give you a rough guide from photos and measurements, which helps if you're budgeting at an early stage. We do like to see a job before confirming a firm price, so that what we quote is what you pay.
How far ahead are you booked?
It varies with the season, as external work is busiest through spring and summer. We'll always give you a realistic lead time when we quote. If you need the work completed by a particular date, let us know early and we'll do our best to accommodate it.
Do you want a deposit?
For larger jobs where materials and scaffold have to be paid for up front, yes — and it'll be set out clearly on the quote before you agree to anything.
